Wow, a great sequence and some really nice individual shots in it as well. Agree with Paul on #4 and have already said how much I liked #5, but #8 is another very nice image. You've got the technique very well refined to get a set like this, really well done.

#6 is still my favourite! Can you tell us more about the conditions etc. that you took these in? I'm pretty keen to get into macro. As I said before. You've inspired me! Maybe I can score a macro lens for christmas from my lovely wife lol.

Thanks for the comments.
The light conditions were fine, morning sun filtered by the trees. The difference in background colour is because I moved around the subject so the lightfall on and the intensity of the background varied.
Taken with the 180mm Sigma macro on the 1D all hand held.
F 5.6, AP, ISO 400, spot metering, manual WB.
