Aaron,

I have 3 pro scanners that I use based on the negative/slide size and desired resolution. In particular the scanners are: 1. Scanmate 11000 Drum Scanner 2. Scan mate 5000 Drum Scanner and 3. Scited Eversmart Pro (Pro flatbed upto 12x19)

The two recent ones are from Scanmate 11000 which is the best scanner I have.

Those are beautiful!

I took a few this last weekend. Had to do a senior shoot for a relative.

Whoa, I was just summoned back to LightCafe by a reply to a topic I was subscribed to in 2007! I miss the old days... this site is responsible for a lot of what I know about photography. These days I mostly shoot portraits--publicity shots for musicians and so forth; I have a basic website at hannahshieldsphotography.com. If there's gonna be a lightcafe revival, count me in!

I really wish it would, Hannah. Unfortunately, I don't think we have enough people to really start it back up. Some of us still hang around though.

I wish that too but don't see that happening unless there are at least 20 of us who commit to post frequently. Seems like I am the only one posting now :)

I'm still checking in from time to time... I just very rarely shoot these days so don't have much to contribute.
I'll be going to Japan next week which has been high on my list forever, Guess I'll take my X-E2 home and probably use it quite a bit!

Same here... I'll post as I take and scan more but winter blues usually keep photography to a minimum for me. Hope to see some of your images from Japan.

Have a safe and fun trip!

Good to see you here again Paul! I have completely gone down the film rabbit hole and am really enjoying it. It has broken my bad habits that I built early on in my hobby with the digital and I am finding that I enjoy making photographs so much more now.

Here is a big update since I haven't been here for a long time now :)
