What ever about some companies wanting images for nothing, it really annoys me when a photographer takes the p**s and looks for images for free, when they're used to endorse/promote a commercial venture/product.

Hello there

I run http://www.aluxurytravelblog.com and would love to feature your shot in our new 'Photograph of the week' series. Would you be interested?

If you have a special photograph - it could be or anything from your travels but must have a ‘Wow!’ factor - that you think would be of interest to A Luxury Travel Blog readers, then please contact us. We’d be happy to look at it and, if accepted as ‘Photograph of the week’, the publication of the image would be accompanied with a bit about the image and a link to your own website (whether or not you are involved in the travel industry). This is open to everyone but is of particular interest to photographers looking to raise the profile of their work. The photographer of course retains all rights to any images submitted for inclusion.

Thanks

Paul

Paul,

Thanks for the invite and the interest in my photo. I took a quick look at your website and from what I could make out, it appears to be a commercial venture? If this is the case, I'd certainly be interested in you using my photo and am happy to discuss a fair licensing fee with you. Being a photographer yourself, I'm sure you can appreciate that photographs should not be exploited for commercial gain, without the photographer receiving some compensation. If you would like to discuss this further, please email me directly at ciaran@thewonderoflight.com

Regards

Ciaran

Nice.

Now you will have to take the occasional look to ensure he does not use it anyway
