Sorry Erin, but ... YES!!!

I really dislike the dirty ducks, and I don't really care who beats them, as long as they go down!

:) :) here! Another good game that the refs let fly. It's hard to tell in person but most of the calls seemed petty or in the case or Hudler getting pushed into Hillar by Pronger just the wrong call. We were happy to see Pronger's slide on Zetterburg leave Cleary open in front of the net for the game winner. If a Duck was going to blow the game we are VERY happy it was Pronger. Off to work...hi ho hi ho.

Great series as expected. Glad we pulled it out.

In my opinion, that last goal of the wings should have been reversed.

You and the 15 Duck fans!

Seriously, I didn't have a good view of the shot and haven't seen it on replay yet. But I bet I can say with certainty that it couldn't have been any worse than the call disallowing the Hossa goal that gave the Ducks a win. I heard my BF Cherry was doing his usually Detroit hate talk, he probably blames us for Ben Johnson testing positive too. I hate to see his reaction if a Swede would have scored instead of a Canadian. At least he is a snazzy, fashionable dresser.

The Ducks had a 5 on 3 and looked pitiful, that kept the crowd going....at least it was worth an extra beer for me!

Thinking about something that will never happen...Wisnewski would be a good fit in Detroit. I love the way that guy plays.

What did you see wrong with Cleary's goal?

They mentioned that goal in the post game...sort of a 'equalizer'

Was a good series, alway is when it boils down to a couple bad calls making such a difference.

Well Kurt I assume you'll be rooting for cry baby Crosby. Huh I mean Penquins.

Hopefully we can make it a series, Draper out, Lidstromm should be, Datsuk ??, Ericcson had appendecitis Wednesday, Kopeckny out for year. If Ozzie can stay sober !

Crosby took a wack at Maltby when the wings were congratulating Osgood. What a weiner...like the Pens didn't have enough issues Crosby wants to get laid out?

I think our best player last night was Fluery, second would be Helm, the new "Mr. Hustle" in town.

I know the Pens have more game than they showed last night so I guess this will be the "easy" win.

Off to Pittsburgh in about 15 minutes...son has a lacrosse game at the university stadium. I will have to listen to game #2 on XM radio....channel 204 !

Redwings looked good in both, my wife asked "do you think the Capitals would have matched up better?" ...I simply stated the obvious, they could not beat the Penguins so we will never know (at least until next season)

What was with all the booing after the final game...

I was not rooting for Crosby, but more for Malkin who I wish would get traded to the Sabres.

You will be happy to know my son was rooting for the Redwings and wearing the shirt you sent him.

We gave it a good effort but too many injuries killed us. Osgood played very well...we just couldn't put it away when necessary. The booing near the end of the game was directed at the game officials that were letting everything fly. A two handed swing of the stick across the back of a head would not have been called. It was going both ways so what the heck.

We need to tweak a few positions and get ready for the next few years...I'm not sure Hossa fits in because of the salary cap. Holstrom , Leino, Chelios, Kopecky can be waived.

Crosby is a jerk. :)

Yeah, the booing was pretty unimpressive to say the least.

Kurt,
tell your son thanks for the help! Always good to have another wing's fan out there.

Still no computer at home, the insurance company is being difficult...I need receipts for everything. Luckily I had photographed much of the house so I'm doing the...well idiot...here's a photograph...look at the exif and it'll tell you when it's taken.

I'm still pissed about the police sayng "well times are tough out there, these people were struggling to survive, you had most of your belongings returned, are you sure you want to press charges?" Let's see..they kicked in our door..trashed the house, stole everything that wasn't nailed down and I'm supposed to have pity...I don't think so.

Hell Chelios is now in the minor leagues back in Chicago!

Tough year for the Wings this season, lost too many to free agency and already have three out with long term injuries. Not to mention Osgood is off the wagon.

Well, it's looking up Buffalo, Ottawa and Detroit in the playoffs, there could be a wager or two ahead. ? The Ducks didn't finish well.

Actually, the Ducks didn't start off well - at all. :-/
Any momentum they picked up after the Olympics wasn't enough to make up for the dismal opening of the season.

What bums me the most is that THIS is the way Teemu Sealne is gonna leave - on a team that 2 years ago won the whole thing, and this year couldn't even make the playoff's. :::sniff, sniff::: At least he has his 603 goals...
