Why? You can see us from space. You can see our fields, our cities, even our smoke plumes in some cases (e.g. the asian pollution plume that stretches across the ocean). We have clearly affected the surface. The atmosphere is just a thin skin on that surface.

That's not where it got the name "greenland", though. But that's not the point.

There's not a climate scientist alive today who wouldn't agree that the climate has been changing since the start of the earth.

Many of them just think we're steering it a bit now, too.
