This was actually one of the first photos I shot with my new camera, I went out to a national park that I'd always been curious about- it turned out to be a bit of a wasted location as the amount of security fencing about (there is a water catchment there) spoiled most images.

At the top of a hill I found this small bench which I thought worked well.

Any comments/thoughts appreciated!

I like the framing and the dramatic sky but think the person on the table needs to be positioned differently. Standing maybe?

What kind of camera did you get?

The first thing I noticed was the branch right on top of the person and how it looks like the tree is reaching out just to cover this person.

I've finally gone full frame by getting a D610 (and then naturally the week after the D750 was announced)

I would agree that the person isn't a strong enough point, this was actually 'staged' as well - the sillhouette is actually a friend I asked to go sit there, so I could've actually tried a few different things but didn't think to at the time unfortunately.
