The site was down again today. I have contacted the web host and notified them. They are escalating it now and going to check server logs since it's server wide and not just my account.

If you ever notice that the good ole LC is down, please shoot me an e-mail at aaron@smithcentral.net

Thanks!

Noted. I haven't noticed any problems over here, so maybe they've been during my night-time.

A2hosting got back with me on the issue. It was another user on this server doing their own database backups of their wordpress database and the zip process was causing the web server service to time out. They are notifying that user that they will not be able to do that again.

They have offered to migrate my account over to CloudLinux for no extra cost. I am still thinking if I really want them to do this or not. They are saying that it would make issues like this fewer. Of course, they also have tried to get me to purchase my own server. That was quite a bit more a month.

This migration will happen starting at 10am Wednesday morning (EST). If you still cannot access Lightcafe after 5pm EST on Wednesday, contact me on Facebook or at thecodemonk@gmail.com.

We are now migrated over to the new server. If you happened to post during the downtime, the post may have gotten lost.
