Sympl aka Gord P introduced himself recently in our newcomers forum. viewtopic.php?f=59&t=18411

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away I am certain I drove Gord nuts with endless questions on digital photography and "secrets" to bird photography. I'm thinking 2003-04? For the record. he never missed a reply to any question I put forward. He gave me very detailed answers and was always willing to answer the most trivial queries that I may have thought, at the time, the most thought provoking questions of the decade.
Sympl and BradM brought me along on the ride to the next level.

Gord has posted "I hope you will enjoy the images and knowledge I am able to share, and I look forward to continuing to grow along side each of you,"

My advice: don't hesitate to ask Sympl!!! This is a gold mine to tap. IMVHO.

I am laughing aloud at the moment thinking about my version of a set-up feeder that Gord shared with me to capture birds but the deer kept sabotaging! Yeah, my shortcut attempt of Gord's advice was hilarious.

Thanks for the advice. I remember Gord from PT - although it's more of a "rings a bell" rather than remembering his work in any detail. I must drop by his newcomers post and send a reply. The stuff on his website is pretty darn good.

I'm a huge fan of his work. I remember him vividly.

Hi Gord! :)

FWIW, Gord has had more of an influence on me than any other member on any other forum - both by his images and by his critiques and helpfulness. Glad he is here :D
