This is what happens when there's no Eagles around the botanical garden a lot of us frequent. This image is compliments of a lady nicknamed "Pete" and she is known as "the sniper" because she is always ready to get a candid shot of one of us especially when there's nothing going on. Yesterday morning after everyone made their rounds at the gardens we all somehow ended up at the Eagle plaza and was playing around with photographing the Eagle statue. My excuse (that's me in the photograph) was I was trying to get the sun between the wing feathers so I had to stand in an awkward position....um yeah, that's it.

This photographer (Dana) was trying to steal my pop tart so I had to keep it close while keeping an eye on her.

This photograph is compliments of Robin and as I always say "Idle minds tend to wander" as I was playing around with the statue.

I hope you enjoyed this brief glimpse into a boring day at the botanical garden I frequent. The photographers that come down here all the time are probably some of the best people I've met in my lifetime and we all share the same passion. :D

That's awesome! Are any of them interested in joining a certain photography forum?

Aaron...so far I got one to join (at least she said she was going to join)....the others aren't really "forum" people for some reason. I keep telling them to skip photography school and learn from sites like this...but many of them are either too shy or don't like to hear feedback from other photographers.

EDIT: No, she hasn't joined yet. Her s/n is ANNSVA or something like that.
