Long-time members may remember I've posted Meccano model pictures here before....

Well, my Dad's always building a range of things so we've done an occasional series of showing his models and various assemblies in some detail. His current models include a number of Star Wars vehicles - a TIE Fighter (which we're looking at adapting into an Interceptor), the Millennium Falcon, an AT-AT and a pair of scout walkers....

They're all available at http://www.flickr.com/photos/gregwebbphotographer/ - here's one for a taster.

I googled "Meccano" from your flickr link, and was astonished by the amount of information available! Your Dad does an amazing job with these models, and your photography shows them off beautifully and with excellent clarity and detail!

You mean you didn't view all 4,000 pictures? ;-)

Thanks people. Sorry for the slightly cut wing, very difficult to see against a black background like this but a spaceship against white just didn't feel right....

Very nice, the model is well done. The clipping of the wing on the lower right is a small nit.

OK...I didn't look at all 4,000 pictures, LOL! But I really did enjoy the ones I saw.

That's is awesome! You know what I would try with this? I would shoot it against a green screen and then put in some space backgrounds behind it.

Why'd you think I shot them against black...? :-) One day. My Dad did a diorama with some of the Hoth models a while ago - Image

Should say, that's all his work, not mine. The background photo is the glacier at Jungfraujoch in Switzerland.
