in a few weeks dh, the kids (19 & 21) and I are heading to Phoenix for 7 days. So far on my itinerary I have:
1. Zoo
2. Botanical Gardens
3. tombstone
4. Sedona
5. morning hike in the desert

and to try to see the downtown. any other ideas? Photo spots? it is a family vacation so I can't make it ALL about photography 8)

One of the most fun things I did in Phoenix (besides shopping all day at Scottsdale Fashion Mall) was a Jeep Sonoran desert tour. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the business, but you can google these tours. It was an all-day tour, but I'm sure they also offered half-days. It was well worth the money.
