It's hard to believe, but it was just about a year ago that I joined this forum, thanks to Phil (Eastsider's) invitation. I was part of a displaced group of orphaned photographers, looking for a new home. We were searching for an established group, hoping for one with experienced photographers who knew how to give good critique, but friendly and respectful of its members. Not too big, and not too small. Most of us didn't have time to join more than one photography forum, so we wanted our choice to be the best choice possible.

You have no idea how difficult it is to find a group like this until you start searching.

Looking back on that time, I sympathize with you long-time members who must have been astounded, distrustful and skeptical of the new faces that suddenly encroached on your space. Thank you for your patience as we adjusted and became a part of this terrific group.

That's all! I just wanted to say thanks and Happy Anniversary to those of us who joined this forum about a year ago.

I doubt any of us oldies thought that Patrish. It's great to have you all onboard!
