Here is a colour challenge. A Cyanotype plug in can be found in Photoshop and can make some pretty interesting images. This was originally a process used to make "blue prints". For a detailed history check out Wiki Cyanotype - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanotype

The last day to submit is Aug 31th. There isn't a time limit on when you took your shot. Post as many and as often as you wish. Have fun!

Here is one of mine to start us off.

I have done a fair bit of real cyanotype printing.

Here's a weirder one (done on a scrap of white cotton T-shirt):
viewtopic.php?f=39&t=11137&hilit=cyanotype

I'll see if I can find one or make a new one before challenge end.

Well, the first image is a half abandoned apartment building in Detroit that qas built in 1896 so the building is pretty old. I did these with CS4 using "cyantype, pixelate: mezzo grain, texture: grain vertical. Then I played around with brushes, contrast etc. I couldn't duplicate the same results since it was "yeah, I like that look...click"

The second shot is the entry to the bar & grille at Comerica Park, home of our beloved Detroit Tigers baseball team.

You did a lot of work on this one and it looks amazing. I too get so involved with a shot that I forget to write down the details .... at least the shot will be on in a million. :-)
