Those of you that know me will think..."why are we not surprised Geo chose this challenge?"....I love night photography and I'm excited to see what you bring to this challenge.

Guess I'll copy Scott and go two weeks and I'll pick a winner in two weeks...May 6th.

You can post up to three images.

The pressure is on I hope I can find some fireworks on the 5th. Or something cool from the Cinco de Mayo celebrations here in Portland.

Strained my eye just looking for the rabbit. You're pulling our legs, Thunder.

Timmy and Cristin contrary to the widely held misconception there is not a man in the moon, it is Rabbit. The moon rabbit is known to many tribal people across the world, including mine the Mexica (pronounced My-she-ca) To my people The Moon is male, but I follow the tradition of the tribes of my wife in this and call the moon Grandmother Moon.
The first link only gives a small amount of info but is helpful in being able to see the major shape of Rabbit. The second one speaks briefly on the teachings of my people in this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_rabbit
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tecciztecatl
The outline in this is a bit different from that of my people, to us Rabbit is actually reading a manuscript not stirring a pot.
