Every entry from the first to the last was really in the running as soon as I viewed it and I really do think that every one who participated with their creations was a winner. It was fun to see your ideas and creations. Thank you.

Wow you folks made the decision of choosing "Top Pick" from this lot and thus getting a new idea for the next theme into play a very difficult one. It dang near came down to the toss of a coin for me to decide.
I have made the decision that I am passing the baton along to TimmyG to pick the theme and host the next challenge. He just happened to shoot one of my favorite subjects ... a bird. He also happened to shoot a bird that I had never seen before. He also shot the bird in a situation that is really one of my pet peeve's and that is there is a dang feeder in the frame!
However that said this was probably the first 'bird and feeder' image I have seen and liked.
Good originality, good set up and execution.

Carry on with a new theme and Challenge 117 TimmyG.

Happy Holidays to all!

Congrats Timmy on the win, love your flying banana creation and can't eat a banana now without thinking about it ha ha ha!

Kim, I never told you how much I enjoyed your creations, they are stylish as well as funny, the one with the banana holster
is brilliant! I also enjoyed the thread a lot that you linked to. Amazing stuff!

Congrats Timmy!

Please hold off until the new year before starting the next challenge. This is traditionally a slow period on the forum, and challenges usually don't get many entries. People are busy with their families and friends, the way it should be.

Looking forward to the next challenge in January!

Congratulations, Timmy! Excellent image and innovative thinking.

I enjoyed seeing all the creative entries for this challenge, starting with Kim's examples, and I think everyone did a super job! I don't know about you, but I smiled every time a new image appeared. There's a lot of solid talent in this forum, and I think we all enjoy a challenge that takes us out of our comfort zone once in awhile. Great job, everyone. Thanks to Kim for getting the ball rolling, and hats off to Timmy!

Wow, thanks all! I'm pretty pleased with this one, I think it is the first photo I've actually planned before taking it. It was a lot of fun, glad you liked it and I enjoyed looking at everyone's work. Mike, I reckon you could have beaten me if you decided to change T-Shirts between each shot ;)

Ok I'll hold off on the new challenge until January, give you all chance to relax and spend time with your families. Plus it will give me plenty of time to dream up a suitable challenging theme to kick-start the new year. Watch this space!

Nothing that involves whippets, flat caps, lard or pigeon racing please!

I actually did think about that at the time, but decided against it. In hindsight it was probably the wrong decision. But, I don't think it would have mattered, I think the better photo won.

Great idea for a challenge Kim and what a great winning photo Timmy. By the time I got bananas my camera was in Alabama, suppose I could have used a P&S.
