I'm making it easy on you this month! The subject is your choice....landscape, people, nature, pets....anything as long as it's in black and white.

You may enter up to 4 images.
Challenge runs now until Jan. 18. Winner will be announced on the 19th EST.

You don't really need an example of black and white because anything goes, but here's one of the old moss-covered oaks at Brookgreen Gardens to get you started:

Image

Looking forward to seeing your shots!

Excellent theme for the challenge! You might even inspire me to go out and take some new photos, but in the meantime here's one from the archives:

I'll start with a shot of my birthday present. Ziggy, our new mini-Schnauzer. I know Paul, it's the wrong size for the header box. :)

I'm editing my square Ziggy for the challenge.

If Ziggy#1 wins he will have to suffer a square crop ;-)

Lovely shots BTW.

Terrific entries so far, and I'm already a big fan of Ziggy! I promise to step up to the challenge soon.

Even more fantastic images posted now! Ok I promised a black and white one and here's my effort. It's not a particularly original concept but I did capture, process and upload this image all on my mobile phone. Modern technology eh?

Not bad for a mobile phone there is very little noise and good detail. I have been using my Mobile phone as part of my 365 project I have been reasonable happy with the quality.

Y'all are just trying to make this challenge hard on me! Yikes! Wonderful, wonderful images!

Deadline is the 19th, so you've still got all day tomorrow to spend posting more black and whites!
