I know its nothing special but I really want to start using my strobe more and I felt like posting something.

I think the lighting is ok but Next time I would close the blinds to prevent a too busy background and the reflextion of the flash on the glass.
As for pose and expression it is not an interesting shot for me sorry.

Like I said, I was just mucking around with my new lens and Siobhan was grumpy that I was blocking her view of the TV haha.

I see you're itching to use that flash off-camera, but your missus doesn't seem to want to play Remember, model mayhem is your friend.... although it's difficult to get models if you have zero in your portfolio. After one successful shoot though you will not have a problem finding models as long as you shoot for free. (although getting them to actually turn up is often a problem i have found)
