OOh I like that! Very interesting. Double exposure I take it?

Composition is great with the steps leading towards the boat and onto the reflection. Lots of interesting features here and then it goes completely off-piste with the concrete slabs in the sky. Love it!

Edit: Ok just seen the BTS blog post. Well you had me fooled, not a double exposure at all! I like it even more now :)

Thanks Timmy - I have been trying to limit myself and really think through the composition. To force this, I only went out with a single sheet of film loaded and had 3 hours to kill. I walked around for almost 2 hours looking for various compositions and finally settled on this. This was one of the last compositions I saw and the earlier versions of this were to shoot this right side up. At the end, I debated going with a frozen water or longer exposure for more smoother water. I am glad I went with this because the reflections are sharper.

Had it not been for the large format movements, in particular the front tilt, this would have been impossible to do under the light I was shooting it in with anything under ISO 1200+
